The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotism and pride. The Manager, Principal and Vice Principal unfurled the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. Five Days Summer Camp
The Summer Vacation Camp at GD Goenka Public School, Basti began with a burst of colors and creativity. Our young Goenkans explored their imagination through art and craft activities, making beautiful handmade cards, paper flowers, and origami creations. This session not only boosted their creativity but also improved fine motor skills and patience. The joy of creating something with their own hands lit up every face.
Day two was all about mind and movement! Students participated in a variety of indoor games, brain teasers, and puzzles that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and quick thinking. Activities like carrom, chess, memory games, and group challenges kept the energy high and the atmosphere buzzing with excitement.
The third day turned into a celebration of rhythm and melody. Students took part in a dance and music session, learning new steps, experimenting with beats, and singing along to their favorite tunes. The workshop helped them express emotions through movement and sound while boosting confidence and stage presence.
Imagination took center stage on the fourth day with an engaging storytelling and drama workshop. Students narrated stories, enacted short skits, and even tried their hands at voice modulation. This activity enhanced their communication skills, creativity, and self-expression, while also promoting listening skills and empathy.
The final day of the camp ended on an exciting note with simple indoor science experiments and DIY projects. Students explored the magic of science through hands-on activities like making volcano models, magic milk art, and balloon experiments. This session sparked curiosity and inspired them to think like young scientists.
